Learn What's Possible With E-Governance

Current Problems

Voter Turnout

Let's face it, voting is an inconvienence in our fast paced modern world. This is especially true general elections & state/city elections. The 2014 General Election had a 36% voter turnout.

Corruption

Congress is at an all time low in it's approval rate. With the money & lack of transparency in government, we can only theorize about the injustices that have and will continue to happen.

Money > People

Greed often influences the choices of those in power. The sense of empathy becomes poisoned with selfish desire and more people suffer as a result.

It's Time For Our Country To Adapt

Frequent Inquiries

What is e-governance?

e-governance is the concept of using information communication technologies (i.e. Internet) to govern more effectively.

Why should we change?

Our constitution was built for adaption. The purpose of a representive democracy is to allow those who are governed to choose who will govern. The problem is that an election allows the majority to be represented, but excludes minority representation. Even in the case of a 49% minority, which could represent tens of thousands of people, do we still favor a winner gets all system.

note: This is just one of the many issues that e-government could resolve.

How might this work?

There are countless ways a system like this might function, I propose a specific system, but in no way do I assert that my system is flawless or without need of enhancement. The specific nature of my system will be explained through out the website.

The foundation of the system would rely on ammending the constitution and recreating the legislative branch. The new system would allow citizens to indefinitely choose their representative(s).
